Prof. Noriko Nakamura is a psychologist/psychotherapist. She is Co-Director of Nakamura Psychotherapy Institute founded in 1989, in Tokyo. Also, in the same year founded Exner Japan Associates (EJA) for teaching and research on the Rorschach Comprehensive System (CS). Translated John E. Exner’s text book, workbook, and primer into Japanese. Authored CS training text books in Japanese. Founding member of the Japan Rorschach Society for the CS 1993 (JRSC) and its president for 12 years. Board member of the International Rorschach Society (ISR) since 2002, including Vice-President 2008-2014 and President 2014-2021. President of the 2011 and Co-President of the 2022 ISR Congresses. Member of the Council of Administration of the Comprehensive System International Rorschach Association (CSIRA) since 2013. Co-founder/director of the Asian-Pacific Center for Therapeutic Assessment in 2014. She is certified in Therapeutic Assessment with adults and couples.
